While in California last year, I took some time off from my hectic schedule and went to watch surfers and their graceful bodies gliding effortlessly on the water. On my return trip, the stewardess handed me a copy of Surfing Magazin. Contrary to the impression that surfing is a beach bum type of sport, Surfing Magazine opened my eyes to a wonderful sport thats not limited to beach bums. It has depth and treats each topic intelligently like the on Chile and how efforts are underway to save some of its magnificent spots. A great magazine to read while not surfing!
