| My daughter and her friends keep talking about Word Up Magazine. They’re music fans and they feel left out and ignorant if they don’t learn about the latest news in music both mainstream and underground. Sometimes I catch my daughter reading the magazine all night instead of doing homework. As long as she reads that’s all I’m concerned about. I’d rather have her home devouring the magazine than out in the streets doing drugs. I hope she never gets tired of Word Up. That way, she’s home often. Permalink |

| I like this mag. It has a lot of my favorite entertainers in it. It also comes with many posters and interviews that I am always interested in. Similar mags are Black Beat and J-14, but I don't like those as much as I like this one. Permalink |
