My kid brother’s photography talent came out when he was 12. He submitted a photo he took in Montana once and it won first prize. My parents gave him a really good camera while I bought him a year’s subscription to Outdoor Photographer. He loved it. Since then he’s joined about 5 contests and he said he looks forward to receiving future issues so he can join more contests. He says it has everything he needs to develop his hobby and he’ll probably want to turn pro when he graduates from university.
