| I used to think of Alaska as salmon country. Fortunately, that narrow-minded view has been corrected by Fish Alaska Magazine. Alaska is a rich state in natural resources, despite its cold climate. It has trout too! I started reading the magazine because I went on a trip once to Hyder Alaska, which is the twin city of Stewart, British Columbia. I brought the magazine along with me, and I am glad I did. I made a side trip to Sitka and enjoy every minute of it. Not only salmon, but halibut to boot. Halibut is my favorite. Permalink |
