My favorite part of Reader's Digest has always been Word Power. I love to test myself on the definitions and learn a new word. I also enjoy reading the various human interest stories. I get tired of reading about actors and actresses and like reading about unsung heroes. The Large Print is great because my mother-in-law can read it without her magnifying glass and gets much enjoyment from it.    Permalink

They say 40 million people read Readers Digest. Do you? I certainly do, been reading it since I was a kid. Its a permanent fixture at home. Where's the Readers Digest? my mom would yell. Then my sister says, I got it. Give me half an hour. That's how it is at home. Its still the best family magazine there is. My dad loves the humor and the heroes, my mom devours anything about health, and my sister likes movie star talk. And the large print is great for my grandmother when she comes over.    Permalink
