Special attractions
Perhaps the most distinctive element of Parenting is the magazine's series of Buying Guides. Parenting calls on the expertise of moms and dads across the country to find those products and services that truly make their lives easier. After Parenting's team of editors and experts evaluates each item for overall safety, quality, effectiveness, and design, the products are sent to mom-testers for evaluation with their own families, in their own homes. Those products that meet with the mom's approval are granted the Mom-Tested! seal and featured in the pages of Parenting magazine.

A recent survey revealed the following Parenting readership statistics:
Women: 97%
Target Market: Families with children 0-11 years,
Household Income $40,000+ =49.7%
Child under age 2 = 33.5%
Child age 2-5 = 42.0%
Child age 6-11 = 33.2%
