This magazine tends to report on what has happened in the economy after the fact rather than give readers good advice in advance of, say, a market crash or recession. Their general advice about diversification and other methods of investing that both protect you on the downside but limit your returns on the upside are good. Readers should pour a heavy dose of skepticism on a Money cover article titled "What Do I Do Now: All Your Questions Answered.". Money does not have a good record of advising investors based on future returns or losses in the markets.    Permalink
