    Regular Attractions

Each issue of FHM offers several special features in addition to the cover story. The lead stories of the March 2006 issue, for example, explored the world of boxing, NASCAR, and professional poker, and offered profiles of a young actress and a sports star.

Other regular departments in each of the year's 10 issues include:

  • WTF!: includes Polls (readers submit opinions on such weighty topics as the greatest breakfast cereal of all time), and Cell Shots (in which readers submit candid photos from cell phones, to amuse and sometimes to shock)
  • Incoming: includes Jokes and True Stories (both submitted by readers), plus Big Eye on the Web (interesting Internet sites to explore)
  • Hombre: this large section includes tips, advice, and reviews on an array of recurring topics, including: Fitness, Money, Sex, Wheels, Style, and Gadgets
  • Scanner: spotlights the latest trends and trend-setters
  • Fashion: presents a look at what's hot in the world of menswear
  • Ladies Confidential: contains stories about "hot dates," "hometown honeys," and other young women with a lot to show
  • Special attractions

Every year since 1995, millions of men around the globe vote for the "100 Sexiest Women in the World" in their national FHM editions. Other magazines have copied this poll, but FHM was there first. Although the results are not statistically significant, they are an indication of the popularity of particular women in the FHM-buying world. Here are the top vote getters by year:

      1995 - Claudia Schiffer
      1996 - Gillian Anderson
      1997 - Teri Hatcher
      1998 - Jenny McCarthy
      1999 - Sarah Michelle Gellar
      2000 - Jennifer Lopez
      2001 - Jennifer Lopez
      2002 - Anna Kournikova
      2003 - Halle Berry
      2004 - Britney Spears
      2005 - Kelly Brook

Trivia tidbit: Only two women have appeared on the list every year: Pamela Anderson and Kylie Minogue.
