As a piano teacher, I rely on Clavier to keep me up to date on both the practical and the artistic aspects of my trade. I've been a subscriber for over 20 years and I never get bored with this publication! It's perfect for anyone who is serious about keyboard instruments, instructors and students alike.    Permalink

well it is the classic, is it not., 9/4/2005 10:03:42 PM
To speak of Clavier is to speak of an institution of Piano Playing. It is the classic magazine of its subject matter, and I have yet to see another do what Clavier has in representing the subject. I have been aware of Clavier since I first started taking lessons over 40 years ago, and the magazine is not ever far from my thoughts. The articles are full of insight, the letters very interesting, and in general it is an informative source and again, THE classic in the field. Writers have tended to be the most profound and well known artists of Piano in the field. What else remains to be said? It is, and has been, and perhaps always will be, the PIANIST'S magazine of choice.
