Very Helpful Car Magazine, 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I subscribed to this magazine to be up to date with my boyfriend. He is big into cars and most of the time I felt out of the loop. I was surprised that it kept me intrigued. It is very informative and has updates on different models, including SUV's, Hybrids and pick up trucks. My boyfriend was very impressed with my new car knowledge and includes me in most of his outings now. Way to go! I highly recommend it. Permalink

Car and Driver magazine is one of the best!, 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

This magazine is by far one of the best out there. I am a current subscriber to 3 different car magazines and I got to tell you this one tops them all. I have been a C&D subscriber for 2 years now (Motor Trend 4yrs and Road and Track 5yrs) C&D is one of the one's that has the most testing on cars, conducts larger comparison tests while being the most enjoyable to read. The road tests are comprehensive with a long list of tests performed for every Auto, and the good points and bad points listed along with a sentence summary of the vehicle.The bottom line: If you want a magazine that tests more motor vehicles than any other American car magazine, prints accurate specifications and performance tests results on each one, and includes articles and up to date auto news, then this is the magazine for you. This magazine has reviews on automobiles ranging from exotic sports cars to minivans. Generally, the prints are informative and well written. But do not expect a careful study of quality as you might find in Consumer Reports. Technically, the magazine seems to me both thorough and accessible. I learned a lot of my auto from this rag, and as my understanding has grown I have not found the magazine to be too simple. But I should state that this is not really a magazine for those who want to modify their vehicles. Permalink

I've been a car enthusiast as long as I can remember and Car And Driver has always been there for me, first as eye-candy and later as a valuable resource to help me feed my passion! The writing is riveting I can almost feel like I'm in the car when they take it on a road test! I also love the coverage of the races, the interviews with the drivers and the product listings. I've never bought a car before I checked out the ratings in Car And Driver. This is a must-have magazine for enthusiasts everywhere! Permalink
