Calliope Magazine was the winner of the 1998 EdPress Golden Lamp Award, and covers curriculum mandated world history themes which show readers that world history is a continuation of events. Calliope is used by social studies teachers, reading teachers and librarians with students in grades 5 through 10, and is published monthly from September through May. Maps, time lines, activities and photographs help kids learn about the people and events that shaped world history.
